We have a new feature on the blog: We’re calling it the Sandy cam! Sandy is having such a great time getting out in the district, she’s decided to take her own pictures and share them.
Sandy’s note:
What a night at the Jackson County Fair! Lots of good food and lots of people enjoying the animals, rides, and visiting with old friends.
Tonight at the Jackson County Fair
Look for me at the Jackson County Fair tonight. I am meeting up with Jeanette Hackman for dinner and then we will be visiting all the exhibits. I am looking forward to meeting some new friends and seeing what the Jackson County kids have been working on this year for 4-H.
Red Hot Democrats at the Orange County 4H Fair! Geoff Kendall, Ben and Donna Walls, Senator Richard Young and Ken Cornwell.
Steve “Spoon Man” Tankersley set a World’s Record at Pekin during the 181st July 4 Celebration. (the most people playing the spoons in one location). He gave Sandy pointers on playing the spoons during this year’s event.
Sandy Blanton and her supporters enjoyed walking in the 182nd “Oldest Continuous 4th of July Parade in America” in Pekin, Indiana.
Two of my best campaigners taking a break at the Orange County Music and Heritage Reunion.
Larry and I enjoyed the Orange County Music and Heritage Reunion this weekend! Here we are with Charlie Hopper, Judith Burton, and Ellie and Max Mays.
We had a great time at the Punkin Center and Valeene booths! Great historical memories and a wonderful weekend spent visiting with friends and listening to music.
Good luck to the West Washington Lady Senators in tomorrow’s semi-state game against Shakamak at North Daviess!
I enjoyed meeting old and new friends tonight at the Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown!
This year’s Dogwood Festival parade theme was, “My hometown is…” To me, hometown is all about friends, family, and tradition.
We want to preserve the unique personality of all small towns in Indiana. There’s no place like home!
A big thanks to the teachers who helped out with our parade entry! It was so much fun.
