I am dedicated to education. I believe in the value of knowledge and I completed my college degree (Business Administration), worked for a Fortune 500 company and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration.  I had a family, two children and a full-time job while achieving these goals. I appreciate the stress and struggles of working people trying to make a better life. Education is the key to opening doors in that struggle. Our schools should have the freedom to innovate and create an inclusive learning environment. There needs to be less state control and more freedom for every school to meet the individual needs of students in their care. Local school boards, elected by their friends and neighbors, should be responsible for providing a quality education for all our children, not a company hired by the state.  Our children deserve it – our future depends on it.
